Baron Max & Baroness Gwennlyn - are the Landed Baron & Baroness of North Woods. Baron Max is a Pelican and a Master of Defense. Baroness Gwennlyn teaches all kinds of things including Bobbin Lace and dance!
Lady Siri Toivosdotter - is a music teacher in real life! She teaches recorder at our event and plays with The Roaring Wastrels and other groups in the Middle Kingdom.
Bantiarna Ceara inghean Mhuirgheasa - is our current Middle Kingdom Minister of Youth. She is reprising the first class she ever taught at our event! Join her to make your own best friend!
Mistress Anthionette - is a Laurel in the SCA. She has been a volunteer at this event since the very first one. She is teaching a really awesome table top game at our event this year!
Jean Yves Chierebourg - is the Midrealm Shield Herald. He is running a Heraldic Consultation Table at our event. He will be able to help people pick their SCA name and design their device.
Tommy - is a past It Takes My Child Champion many times over. He has been honored as an ITMC Gold Link. He is now our newest adult volunteer. He is teaching spear throwing and Kubb (aka Viking Angry Birds) at our event!
Mistress Dulcinea Maria Magdalena von Muhlberg y Aguilar - is a Laurel and the former Baroness of North Woods. She does many different arts and sciences. She is sharing her skill of jewelry-making with us!
Lord Finnian MacFinn - has been telling stories and singing songs at almost every It Takes My Child event! A little known fact about him is that he named this event! He was the first Seneschal of the Canton of Wealdlake.
Lady Eloise Mousebane - was the first teacher to send me a class description! She is the mom of two precious little girls! Do you want a more period look for your little one. Where to start? Start here. I will provide my patterns from ages 3 months to 2 years old for you to use as a template, bring scrap fabric to make your own. I will also provide instruction on how to put it all together. We will cover how to take measurements on your wee one to make patterns, and information on what fabric is appropriate. I will bring examples and pictures for you to see the end result. Please bring your own fabric, pins, and scissors.
Lady Aliyah bat Asriel - is our Smelly Science expert! She is also our event scribe - she made all of the scrolls for Court today! She is running Smelly Science out of the kitchen this year!
Brother Bjorn - is joining Lord Finnian in the Duckling Pond this year!
Lady Silly - is the alter ego of The Honorable Lady SæhildR barngóðR. She is the event steward and creator of this event. She is sneaking away for an hour to share some really neat art with us.
Lady Aine - is the Exchequer for the Canton of Wealdlake. You may recognize her from the registration table! She was the second person to send a class description! Aimed at those approx. 8 years and up who'd like to try their hand at calligraphy, this class will introduce you to the use of flat-nibbed or chisel-tip pens, both dipped and felt-tip, demonstrate how to write the Italic alphabet, and provide both letter-shape examples and lined sheets for later practice.
